No. The chicken is a flavour, not an ingredient, and there is no meat in either pot. Both are entirely plant-based: wheat gluten, pea protein, shiitake, yeast extract and spices do all of the work.

Protein Chicken

Vital wheat gluten, pea protein powder, wheat flour, buckwheat flour, pea fibre, tapioca starch, salt, konjac flour, xanthan gum (E415), sodium carbonate (E500), disodium salt, onion powder, sugar, hydrolyzed 5’-ribonucleotides (E635), soy protein, flavouring, garlic powder, shiitake mushroom, yeast extract, maltodextrin, parsley, turmeric, chilli, silicon dioxide (E551), dried carrot, dried green onion.

Protein Thai Curry

There is no separate halal certificate for Proodlez, and we are not going to claim one we do not have.

What we can give you is exactly what is in the pot. The full ingredient list is in the question above, and nothing in it is animal-derived: no meat, no animal fat, no gelatin, no alcohol.

Wheat, gluten and soy.

Thai Curry, yes: monosodium glutamate, E621, printed on the pack. Chicken, no. Both contain E635, which is a different flavour enhancer.

1416 mg in the chicken pot and 1613 mg in the Thai curry, which is 3.60 and 4.10 grams of salt. That is a lot. Instant noodles are a salty food and ours are no exception.

If you want Proodlez with less of it: the seasoning sachet carries about 90% of the sodium. Use part of it rather than all of it.

Peel the lid back to the line, empty both sachets in, pour boiling water to the mark inside the cup, close the lid, wait five minutes, stir, eat. No pan, no oil, no draining.
